Sometimes, the parts of our lives that shape our entire destiny are too wrapped up in pain and  fear for us to see what they can truly become.

Such is the case for young Emerys Randall, whose whole world will change at no more than fourteen years old.

For one young boy, the world may feel like it’s falling down around him, but it’s only just beginning to put itself back together once more.

From the darkness now surrounding him, shall come the greatest parts of his life; and his enemies who once rose to power through the stars’ fall, shall now fall to the Wolves’ Rising.

Emerys Randall is a fourteen year old Were born into a world of magic, but without any himself. 

When he starts to develop a new talent, though, it appears it may not be for the best; especially when it seems to have led to someone calling in an assassin for him.

Now, Emerys and the few allies that he has have a very limited window of time to find a way to save him, because someone wants him dead, and no one can tell if it's because he can read their minds, has no power, or because of a prophesy that seems so far beyond belief as to hardly warrant thinking about.
